UPDATES 11/30/11!
Yes, Finally, an update! So, am finally updating this page...things have been kinda hectic in 2011, but am finally settling back into the swing of things. So, what's been happening, hmm?
Well, for starters, am working on getting the PoinkCasts back on a semi-regular basis. It will happen; what really slows me down is Hugh has gotten to be a popular character in these, which is fine; but it gives a new dimension to the writing and it does add a lot more time to the recording and editing, since I'm playing 2 characters (Shh, don't tell anyone). It's much easier to just let Poink or Hugh go wild by themselves, with maybe a brief cameo from the other. And I have some ideas coming up as well which lend themselves more to Poink or Hugh going solo, so I'll be mixing those up as well.
As far as the standup performances, those are still coming. I hated to miss MFF this year, but personal obligations kept that from happening this time. But, my Anthrocon performance was recorded this year and is in the process of being produced with my friend Danny Dingo, and THAT will be released as a DVD in the near or semi-near future!
But, I still have recordings of all my other standup performances, starting with the very first time I did it in 2007. I have been wondering what to do with those. And I've decided, they should be posted on HughTube.
HughTube you may ask? Well, I got it in my head to create my own YouTube channel. This was originally just to post some of the best moments of Poink and Hugh from the Funday Pawpet Show; but I've decided to add other stuff weasel and seacow related as well, including maybe putting some original material together. So, some of the donations I get will go towards a decent video recorder and maybe some software. And, I've decided I'll edit all of the old Standup performances and put them there as well.
As far as what else I've been doing, I've really been having fun with Twitter. I'm always coming up with weird comedy ideas, some of which are just one-liners, so I use Twitter now to put those out so people out there can maybe get a few laughs during the day. And finally, people had requested a way to just boot up ITunes and search for the PoinkCast, so I submitted it to Itunes; they accepted, and now, you can just go to the Itunes store, type in PoinkCast, and download till your hearts content! So I have been working on stuff; and y'all may have noticed with the latest PoinkCasts, that the recording and editing has been improving; I've been experimenting a lot with the editing and have added new equipment to that as well. Other then that, lots of working out, and other stuff that just goes under the catagory of everyday life.
So feel free to hit the contact page and subscribe to me in various places, rate me on ITunes, and message me with your various ideas and thoughts. And remember, the PoinkCast is for mature individuals; do not plunk your kid down in front of this and go shopping, unless you want to come back to them having an amazing knowledge of the various naughty parts of the male and female anatomy and know tons of ways to piss people off!
